01. Overview
Techif Store was my solo university field work project in 2025: a complete Laravel e-commerce app with a storefront, cart, checkout, and a role-based admin panel. It ran locally and was never deployed.
02. The Challenge & Problem Scope
My university field work required a complete project, and all my earlier projects were frontend only.
03. Strategic Approach & Solution
Built it the Laravel way: routes to controllers, Eloquent models with migrations, Blade views, and Livewire for the cart and wishlist. Admin panel with role-based access for managing the store.
04.What I Learned & Key Takeaways
- Building a complete app teaches more than tutorials: checkout flows, order states, admin permissions.
- Eloquent relationships keep product, order and variant data consistent.
- Role-based access needs to be enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI.
